Bass player wanted for established north east indie / rock covers and originals band (20 years experience) seeks experienced bass player preferably with the ability to do backing vocals for 12-20 gigs per year, mainly electric but a few acoustic shows. We are an established North East based (Newcastle/Gateshead/Durham) five piece band covering Southern Rock, West Coast Rock and Country Rock material and require a replacement drummer for immediate start. We usually gig at least twice a month but can (not often) sometimes be 3 or 4 a month. Our driving force are 3 and 4 piece harmonies and a tight backline, covering songs by The Eagles, Blackberry Smoke, Neil Young, CSNY, Stephen Stills, Steely Dan, Synyrd Skynyrd, The Georgia Satellite, The Band, The Byrds, Tom Petty, Outlaws, Pure Prairie League etc. You must have your own transport and good drum mics. Experienced Drummer looking for a band or musicians. I enjoy playing music from the 60s, proper soul music, pop music or stuff by The Beatles / Stones / Kinks / Hollies / Eagles etc. I also love instrumentals by bands like The Shadows. I'm not interested in anything deafening, heavy, punk or metal. I'm based midway between Durham and Bishop Auckland and I'm free during daytimes or evenings.
